Cherie has wanted to work with animals ever since she was little and has spent her free time learning as much as she can. Cherie joined Kindness Family Pet Clinic a couple of years ago and hopes to one day become a certified veterinary technician. She has a very big soft spot for pugs; her family has been breeding them since she was little and she has two pugs of her own whom she absolutely adores.

Ellen began working in the veterinary field in 2006 in the suburbs of Chicago as a veterinary assistant at Park Ridge Animal Hospital and volunteering at Second Chance Adoption agency. Ellen’s love of animals and passion for their well-being led her to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where in December of 2011 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences. Outside of the veterinary field, Ellen enjoys scrapbooking, singing, dancing, and reading. She spends her free time hiking the Oregon trails with her fiancé Wayne and their two dogs, Sierra & Taz.
